At The last Pension Board meeting, on 3/25/2015, while approving the minutes of the Steering Committee, Police Trustee Rich Griner, Steering Committee Chairman, stated " he did not recall any Active or Retiree members present, participating ".
After listening to my recording of this . I called Retiree Joe Moscato who was in attendance at that committee meeting and Joe stated to me " this was true because Committee Chairman Rich Griner would NOT allow him to participate when he requested to do so, even though Plan Attorney Klausner stated he would like to hear Mr. Moscatos input " .
Trustee Sharon Fox as Committee Chairman has allowed Retirees to give input at Her committee meetings , Trustee Mark McRae has allowed retirees input as Chairman at His committee meetings, and Trustee Mark Bogush has allowed retirees input as Chairman at His committee meetings.
Trustee Griner has been very disrespectful to Retirees in the past. This includes but not limited to , Retiree Gene Wrenn, Retiree Dennis Ribaya, as well as Myself.
Trustee Griner emits the aura that he is better than Retirees and Retirees have no right to express any opinion in Pension matters.
I personally thank Active members of the past, who are now Retirees, for the foresight to create our Pension.
Maybe the Police members will elect a different person, who will show respect to Retirees, to be Trustee, in October, when Trustee Griners term expires.
