This is strictly for informational purposes. I personally agree with the endorsement already posted, but having spoken to both candidates, I wanted to share the info they gave me. Jody Conn is an F4 Paramedic assigned to R15C and #3 on the current Lieutenant's list. He has a BA in Sociology and an AA in EMS. He has 6 years on the job, ran against but lost to John Cannon in last election, but has stayed abreast of the pension since and will run again if not elected this time. Greg Reed is District Chief 4C and has 25 years on the job. He has decided not to drop and will retire when he reaches 100% at 31 & 3/4 years so he's making a 6 year commitment to the pension. His father and brother are already retired from TFR and his wife, his wife's sister and her husband are all active TFR Captains. He too has a working knowledge of pension issues and procedures.
