Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

It was the one place that he had mostly been avoiding these few weeks of gathering information, because he knew if he did, he was crossing a line. Or, maybe crossing a line. He couldn't be sure what might happen, except this was where the scent he had been tracking was the strongest. At least freelands-wise, for he had not trailed it to any packland yet. He wasn't sure what he would do if he found the owner of the smell in a pack anyway. Though it did not have the smell of any pack with it, so there was that. The wolf he had been tracking smelled of rogue the entire time he was looking. Riot did not know if that was a bad thing or a good thing.

And he had been trying to avoid face to face confrontation with any of the attacking wolves, but sooner or later he knew he would have to find at least this one. It was nagging at his mind and wasn't going to let up until he had answers. And a new rank. But that was the reason that he was looking for whomever this wolf was. To finish a task, although there was truth in the fact that yes, Riot had some personal connection with the creature... he thinks. Not that he wanted to, just that it seemed that way by how familiar and unknown the scent seemed to him. Yet the mess made of the white wolf that had come to Iromar made him wary... just not wary enough to toss away the chance at this rank he wanted.

So into the craigs he went, sniffing around to search for the freshest scent that he had been avoiding but keeping tabs on for the past few weeks. It was there, actually all over the place here around the rocky area, but Riot wasn't sure if any were fresh enough to lead him to the would that connected to the smell. He sighed, trying to focus on this, knowing he needed at least a little more pieces to the puzzle to figure out more. To find out what he needed to know and get the information back to Aithne. To be honest, he was feeling a little disappointed in himself for taking this long to get what he needed for the task.. but he had been dragging his paws on this part...
