Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Deep blue eyes lifted to look upon me confidently, though at the same time there almost seemed to be something missing from her gaze as water dripped away from the fur along her neck. My curiosity about the situation was only heightened as she spoke, her voice airy with an almost sanguine aftertaste. But her words did not seem to match her disposition, commenting on the definition of alright. I could not help the way my head tilted slightly to the side, perplexed and waiting for perhaps some elaboration upon what she meant. It required no prodding or further questioning, for the girl dipped into the reasoning for her words. The angle of my head righted itself as she elaborated upon her words, and my maw parted in a soft 'o' shape, surprised by her honesty at the situation she was in. But then again, I suppose she hadn't much of a choice, since she was suffering from memory lost. "Oh," was all I could manage to say in reply before her eyes drifted away from mine and up towards the sky. Realizing my mouth was open, I closed it and blinked as I watched her stare up into the brilliant light of day as if it were the first day of spring after a long, harsh winter.

After a moment she spoke once more, again that air of positivity despite the obvious troubles she was experiencing. Slowly my tail moved back and forth, brushing along my hind legs as a small smile pulled at the corners of my lips. "It is, at that," I agreed, the look on my face pulling up into a slight smirk as the shewolf's eyes fell from the sky back to me once more. She moved then to extricate herself from the waters slightly down the bank from me. Pale violet eyes traced her movements, born of a naturally curious nature. In the back of my mind I couldn't help but be reminded of the first time Aithne and I had met; the similarities of the situations were few, but enough to make me recall it nevertheless. What would it be like if I lost the ability to recall such happy memories? I suddenly felt a gripping desire to help this female in any way I could, though I was no healer and unsure how exactly I might best be able to assist her.

Turning towards her as she shook the water from her pelt, I waited for her to finish before I took a single step forward. Before I could ask her anything about the incident she had experienced she turned towards me and asked who I was and where we were. The smirk on my features pulled more to one side than the other, for she seemed to be handling her predicament (as she'd called it) quite well. I doubted that I would if it were me; all my life I had craved the what's, why's, and how's to be answered and I couldn't imagine not knowing, well, anything. "My name is Vesper; and we are within Susil Crags, a free region of Moladion," I said, though I wasn't sure any of it would make any sense to her or perhaps strike a chord in her memory. "Do you know your name?" I asked, thinking this perhaps the most basic question to ask, to ascertain if she had truly lost all form of memory or perhaps just the majority of it. I took another step forward, leaning forward on my paws and lifting my head in an attempt to see more of her head, worried that maybe the reason for her headache was a serious injury. "Is there a laceration, or just a bump?" Violet eyes tried to ascertain if any blood stained her fur, but I could not see any from here and so my gaze shifted back to her face, hoping she did not find me too intrusive. I only wanted to help.
