I'm glad to see there are members interested enough in the good of the Club to comment on my message. Member interest is what makes an organization and keeps it alive. So thanks for the replies. The good of the Club was what motivated my message in the first place I assure you.
However, I have to say the Executive (the people the message was directed to) is conspicuous by it's absence in replying. I have not heard from anyone on the executive.
When I was president many years ago we had a policy that any member could attend any executive meeting although, of course, did not have a vote. This might be a good way to allow for member input if the Executive was comfortable with such a policy.
