It's time to upset some people. So what else is new? The Supers are not doing well! They just don't exist any more as they did in their prime and the only way to bolster their numbers is by adding Sprints to the show. Ten cars are not what the fans pay for. With the costs of tires, large pit fees and over the top engines coupled with not the greatest purses means a lot of garaged cars and less than exciting shows. As a fan since retirement I would rather sit in the stands and watch a mix of twenty to thirty Supers and Sprints battling it out than ten Supers struggling to make a show of it.
