Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

truth is beautiful without doubt; but so are lies (ralph waldo emerson)

Hot - it is quite hot this day. The sun hangs high and the world buzzes with the sounds of a multitude of insects as they leap from one tall strand of wheat to the next, rubbing spindly legs together to create the backdrop of summer music. It is the kind of day that can either create a driving urge for adventure or the need for relaxation. Enderly has grown restless having spent much time in a single area around the den he and Eris had adopted upon her pregnancy. Now with the two boys it was like a chain that kept him tied down and as time passed he grew more irritable. While they were his children and he craved Eris with a vengeance, he needed to stretch and move, and today he would do it. Loki was made almost in his image, a strapping boy with handsome features, while Silas looked far fetched in Enderly's eyes. His colors, he had been assured, were due to Eris's heritage, but he still had his doubts and he didn't know really how to react to the boy. It made him quite short of temper and patience and perhaps he should be a better father but then again Enderly hadn't wanted to BE a father. It just sort of happened... after a lot of fun, that is.

The births of his two sons had reminded him of his daughter Sanguine. Saving her from the clutches of that mad bitch Tick Tock who now deigned to call herself Queen and rule regally over those accursed plains. But his daughter had disappeared and she was really the only one he had cared for. Sarabi had disappeared long ago and he had recently went to the edges of Glorall to spy on his forgotten firstborn son. Underidge. What a creeper. How the hell that kid came from his loins he wasn't sure - it must be a defect from Banshee's genes. Where Enderly was glossy and slick his firstborn was spindly and rugged, and not in the way one might call handsome with his matted fur and skeletal look. He lived by a friggin ocean! JUMP IN! But that wasn't really Enderly's concern and so after sating his curiosity, he had left and headed towards the crags.

The heat is what pushes him to weave across the rocky areas, up an incline and then down the gravelly side until he circles back towards the myriad of ponds that form from the waterfalls which are not nearly as powerful now as they were during spring and during the rains. It didn't matter - all he needed was water. He pauses at the edge of one so that his mercurial silver eyes can take in his reflection, the handsome face that looks back at him with silver furs along his chin and silky black fur. He needed something to draw his attention, something to create the chaos he thrived in. He needed others.

Thus Enderly throws back his head and howls. It is long and smooth and mysterious, calling for all those around to join him at the pools as he lies down with forelegs crossed and the tips of his claws touching the water, waiting with a sly smile on his face.

Enderly.
