Taika chuckled at their old argument over his title, putting her nose gently in the ruff of his neck, just happy to have him around her again. The chuckle turned to laughter and she skittered away again, her body shifting once more to her natural playful postures, her tail swaying merrily behind her. It was not the first time she had seen that look come over a male’s face. Tithe had looked much the same way when he had caught sight of a pretty gold fem that had whisked him away. He had assured her he was still her friend, but and there was nothing more that she wanted from him. His assurance that everything would be the same. Her dark eyes looked over Edrick though and she looked between the two wolves that she held so close to her heart. She did not know what she wanted from the prince, but her heart ached with desire to have him look at her with even just half of what he now looked at Neverland. Everything in her wanted to whimper, pleadingly, at him. Instead, she forced herself to look at her white friend, a smile making its way back to her face, her tail wagging twice.

With an inward sigh to herself, she forced down an odd negative feeling that was so new to her, but was brushing against her heart. Moving her feet she trotted around them. But it does seem like my dear Edrick has caught something. There was a smile on her face when she looked at him from her place beside Neverland. It would have been impossible for her to feel ill will towards Edrick, almost just as challenging to begrudge her friend. Though her insides turned, making her feel kind of sick, she made her tail continue to wave, her smile planted on her face.
