Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

edrick - five - loner - heart & soul

What was the purpose of this? This bond was unnatural, he thinks for a moment, yet it felt so right within him that he cannot help but dismiss it. It was only his nerves talking. Here he was surrounded by these two females, one of whom he had fled from due to these strange feelings and another who was now bound to him. His soul longed to join with hers, the cover her in his scent and follow beside her and his heart thumped in painful reminder of it's desire for another. He had been a maverick for so long it destabilized him to be in such a predicament. Going from having nothing to being in a position with more than one choice - but those choices would have consequences. One would no doubt get hurt. Stop! He couldn't think about it, so confused was he, so torn. Some things took times. Yes, that is what he would take. Time.

To buy him that Edrick moves off, feeling as if he is suffocating in his own skin, burning because he knows that Neverland is watching him. He can feel the spike of dissatisfaction at mention of leaving and his ears flick back in response, lips trembling as they want to blurt out that she can come, she can always come, but she realizes it and he catches himself before he embarrasses himself. Why did things have to be so complex? If he had just stayed them maybe... ach! Such thoughts were nothing but bitter burrs that dug deeper. He can feel her presence as she moves behind him. It is more than just a knowing or a listening but a sort of presence about her - the joy, the free look. She loped beside him now and his lavender eyes turned to hers, his steps crossing and bringing him so that his side touched hers if only for one very breif moment, his lips widening in a sigh of relief, as if he had longed for that.

Have you ever been an eagle? He grins suddenly, the idea frivolous and marvelous. "No, but I wish I had been. You can see everything and go anywhere, why would you want to be a wolf like us?" He questions her, stopping abruptly when he realizes Taika is not with them. Tawny head snaps around as he sees her, almost senses her agitation and confusion, and his joy is snuffed for the moment. He longs to go to her and maybe that is what he needs.. to see what he COULD have. Was it selfish? Possibly. "Taika?" He voices questioningly, hesitant, but she digs her paws in and rushes towards them. His tail lifts high, breath easing from a chest that had forgotten for a few moments that it needed oxygen, and he lunges to her side as she flies past so that he can rub against her as well. It bolsters him in almost the same way it had with Neverland except that he cannot feel if she shares in his joy.

He runs now, inserting himself between the two females for he finds it the most soothing position for himself. Running - there is nothing as exhilarating and relieving. At least in this he can shrug off these feelings for a few moments to enjoy the air. "I am the King of the Faeries of the Air!" He shouts into the wind, lunging in front of them and angling to the right so that he can lead them to the lake. Edrick does not slow. He races straight into the water with a bark of excitement, water spraying up around him and swallowing him. The water faeries welcomed him as he disappears beneath it, crouching, and then bursting into the air in an impressive leap.
