1966NMCB-10 completed work on the upgrading of the An Hoa airfield to provide an all-weather 2,500 foot runway.

1967 Brig Gen Rollans, Military Advisor Group Director of Construction, visited NMCB-121 at Camp Campbell
NMCB-40 Detail Delta, consisting of 1 Chief Petty Officer and 8 other enlisted men, deployed to Cu Lao Re Island to construct a Naval radar Facility for COMNAVFORV.
MCB-9 completed the last of 15 BOQ/BEQ concrete decks in the Fleet Aircraft Support Unit ONE/NSA cantonment at the Da Nang Air Base complex prior to the onset of expected monsoon rains, thereby providing a good backlog of vertical rainy season work for NMCB-9.

1968The EM Club was re-opened at Camp Haskins North, Danang after extensive remodeling and re-roofing by NMCB-22. The grand opening was attended by Radm. J.V. Bartlett, Commander 3rd NCB, Capt. J.R. Fisher, Commander 30th NCR, and Commanding Officers from NMCBs 1,3, and 12-a good time was had by all
Brig Gen Drake, USMC, Deputy XXIV Corps Commander and CAPT Walton, CEC, USN, COM32NCR, toured camp facilities and NMCB-121 project sites.
NMCB-71 completed the ARVN Ammunition Supply Point.
Brig Gen Drake, Deputy Commanding General, XXIV Corps, U.S. Army in Phu Bai visited NMCB-7 at Camp Barnes.
MCB-10 Detail Kilo departed Battalion base camp for Phu Loc to construct additional facilities at the Phu Loc Quarry. The Detail returned to base camp 08 Dec 68
Capt. A.W. Walton, CEC, USN, COM32NCR, accompanied MGEN Drake, Dep. Commander XXIV Corps, on a visit to Camp Evans and Camp Haines.

1969NMCB-74 Crew Kilo, consisting of 18 enlisted men from Bravo Company, deployed to Hill 55 to install an electrical distribution system and a complete perimeter security lighting system. The Detail rejoined the Battalion on 25 February 1970.
NMCB-74 Crew Juliet, consisting of 25 enlisted men from Delta and Bravo Companies, deployed to Hill 37 to upgrade and construct new cantonment facilities. The Detail rejoined the Battalion on 08 February 1970.
NMCB-62 completed construction of the 537 foot Dong Ha Bridge over the Song Bo Dieu River at Dong Ha ahead of schedule.
ADM Dillon, Commodore Washburn, CAPT Fisher, and CAPT Lalor were on board Camp Haines for an awards ceremony. ADM Dillon delivered a farewell address to NMCB-11 and presented awards to NMCB-11 personnel.
NMCB-8s Detail Quebec returned to Camp Haskins South via convoy.
NMCB-1 celebrated the mid-deployment point with a party for all hands.

1970NMCB-62 Detail Hollywood Delay Party at Tan Chau completed construction of the ACTOV Base and redeployed to Bien Hoa.
NMCB-3 Detail Aquarius Main Body departed Camp Haskins South for Chau Doc and Tan Chau ACTOV Bases to begin construction of dependant shelters and punch list construction items.
