. CHARITABLE ADVERTISING on Web Site
There are many worthwhile charitable causes in existence, but we can only accept sponsorship or fundraising efforts on Fusilier Association websites, that specifically support approved Fusilier charities.
This essentially means that it is acceptable to use these pages to seek sponsorship for The Fusiliers Aid Society (which includes Fallen Fusiliers), and The Fusilier Memorial fund only.
We now have our own dedicated justgiving site (http://www.justgiving.com/fusiliersaidsociety), which you can use to help raise money for your cause. If you let RHQ (Asst Regt Sec) know the specific cause you are raising money for, it will be directed to the correct fund.
Messages soliciting sponsorship for causes or charities other than the Fusilier ones mentioned above should not be placed on the message board and may be removed by the Webmaster.

I am searching for a guy who I served in Germany and N.Ireland with..between approx 1977-81..in the British Army..He is from the South London area,possibly..Streatham,Clapham,Crystal Palace,Forrest Hill etc..His name is Andrew Leather..with nickname.."Bootlace"..The army regiment was 3RRF..Although Andrew left before myself,I did manage to see him once after when I came home on leave..an he was working as a London bus driver..But I lost his address an touch etc..And I don't know or remember from which garage he worked from..He had another friend in same regiment called Alan Purchase who was from Streatham..who I once stayed with whilst on leave..but I demobbed before him and also lost contact details and touch..I have tried to find over the years but with no success..Andrew did helped and did a ffavour for me..And I would dearly love to repay him back..as I have never forgotten it..I would greatly appreciate any knowledge or info for either..Although Andrew now could possibly be living in the the Tiverton area of Devon..My name is Kevin and from Merseyside area..Contact details..07766622231..Many Thanks!!
