1941…Pearl Harbor attacked

1966…NMCB-8 begins it’s second RVN deployment at Camp Miller relieving NMCB-3. The statistics tell the NMCB-3 story: 15,000 cubic yards of concrete in place and 1208 buildings constructed totaling 240,000 square feet, for a material value of $4,8 million dollars. The Pacific Fleet’s “Best of Type” Battalion had left it’s mark, monumentally.
… NMCB-40 completed FLSG-Bravo Communications Center.

1967…Seabee Team 1012 departed Vietnam by C-130 for CBC Port Hueneme.
…The final flight of NMCB-11 arrived at Point Mugu signifying completion of the battalion’s 1967 deployment to Dong Ha.

1968… NMCB-133/NMCB-40 BEEP was completed.
…CAPT Miller, CEC, USN, CBPAC Chief of Staff and CDR Hackenson, SC, USN, CBPAC Supply Officer visited NMCB-121 at Camp Wilkinson.
…NMCB-3 personnel began the An Hoa Logistical Support Area (LSA) site preparation.
…NMCB-22 completed the USAF Base Operations Center
During the evening hours, Bridge 9-2 was partially destroyed by a VC Sapper Unit

1970…Seabee Team 6204 closed its site at Thu Duc, Gia Dinh Province.
