1965…Seabee Team 0506 closed its site at Quang Ngai and took up residence at their new site at 14D Ba Dinh Street in Da Nang.

1966…Last of NMCB-1 main Body personnel arrived at red Beach, Da Nang
…NMCB-11 hosted a Seabee Ball Celebration for all regimental and Battalion personnel in Vietnam.

1967…RADM W.M. Heaman, CEC, USN, and RADM P.E. Seufer, CEC, USN, visited NMCB-4 at Camp Hoover.

1968…Seabee Team 5802 established a new site at Soc Trang, Ba Xuyen Province. Soc Trang was the most southerly Seabee Team location, located on the Cao Mau Peninsula.
…NMCB-121 completed the Phu Bai-Hue pipeline four days ahead of schedule.
…Notification was received of the selection of NMCB-10’s EQCM James W. Enright as co-winner of the Admiral Claude V. Ricketts Award for Inspirational Leadership.
…Radm. Combs, COMSERVPAC, visited CBMU-302 facilities at Cam Ranh Bay
…One artillery attack on Dong Ha. Three rounds impacted in the CBMU-301 living area. Eight men were wounded, two of which were medevac’d. One hut was heavily damaged and two huts moderately damaged.

1969…A bridge completed in January 1969 by Team 12101 was destroyed by an enemy explosive charge in Dinh Tuong Province.
…1050-2320, Eight 122mm rockets impacted in the Gia Le Combat Base and Camp Eagle.
…CDR Roy D. Gaulden, CEC, USN, Prospective CO NMCB-4, arrived at CBC Port Hueneme.
…CBMU-302 personnel completed a PCF overhaul structure at NSF, CRB. The access road was completed at the radar site on Con Son Island. A 20 x 40 foot structure was completed at Cau Mau Peninsula.
…During the night of 15-16 March, the NMCB-12 mortar crew consisting of Headquarters and Security Company personnel fired 285 rounds of 81mm illumination in support of Bravo Company, First Military Police battalion (Marine). Results of the action were 1 hostile KIA.

1970…CWO Marr; CMCS Lerny; and EOC Fisicaro, all from 31NCR, conducted an Equipment Inspection of NMCB-121.
…Final elements of NMCB-74 Detail Alpha departed Camp Rhodes, Quang Tri to rejoin the Battalion at Camp Hoover, Da Nang.
…NMCB-74 Crew Romeo, consisting of 5 enlisted men from Bravo Company, deployed to Hill 65 to install a water distribution system. The Detail rejoined the Battalion on 10 April 1970.
…NMCB-5’s main Body flights one and two departed CONUS by air for Da Nang.
…Secondary Bridge Four was dedicated with an appropriate ceremony and distribution of Vietnamese medals to 19 NMCB-10 personnel who worked on the project by Major General Troung, Commanding General of the 1st ARVN Division. Capt. J.E. Washburn, CEC, USN, COM32NCR; Col. E.E. Love, CE, USA, XXIV Corps Engineer, and Cdr. D.P. Johnson, CEC, USN, Commanding Officer, NMCB-10 attended.

1971…The Bien Hoa Air Base received an unknown number of rockets near the Construction Battalion Center. No NMCB-74 personnel received injuries.
…NMCB-3’s Detail Hydra returned to camp Haskins South from Cam Ranh bay and Nha Trang area after completing well drilling operations.
