1942…Camp Holliday is established as a Naval Advanced Base Depot. Camp Holliday would later be renamed Construction Battalion Center-Gulfport.

1966…Cdr. Paul R. gates, CEC, USN relieved Cdr. Richard T. Hardy, CEC, USN, as Commanding Officer of NMCB-1. A Change-of-Command ceremony, which included a Battalion Pass-in-Review, was held at the NMCB-1 camp at Camp Haskins. Among Honored Guests present were Radm T.R. Weschler, Commander Naval Support Activity; Radm R.R. Wooding, COM3RDNCB; Bgen H.M. Elwood, assistant Wing Commander, 1st Marine Air Wing; and Capt N.R. Anderson, COM30NCR.

1967…At 1130, LCDR L.D. Lawson, Commanding Officer, NMCB-7, assumed operational control of Camp Adenir and assigned construction from CDR E.J. Williams, Commanding Officer, NMCB-5.
…CAPT A.R. Marschall, COM30NCR visited NMCB-3

1968…One artillery attack on Dong Ha

1969…NMCB-133 Detail Romeo under CWO J.A. Blake, CEC, USN, deployed to Camp DeShurley, Phu Loc, via convoy.
…NMCB-121 2 man Civic Action Team rejoined the Battalion at Camp Wilkinson from Vinh Loc Island.
…MCB-10 Detail Golf returned to base camp from Camp Eagle.

1970…NMCB-121 Detail Foxtrot, consisting of nine men, deployed to LZ Baldy.
…LCDR R. Lowery, CEC, USN, 32NCR and CDR H. Rice, SC, USN, visited NMCB-7 at Camp Shields.

1971…CBMU-302 begins construction of 220 Dependant Shelter Program units for the VNN at ISB Nam Can
