1964…Seabee Team 0505 completed its 382 mile move from Quang Tri to Phan Rang, Ninh Thuan Province, establishing a new Team site.

1966…NMCB-58 completed the a Boiler Shed, 30NCR Bunkroom, and 30 NCR Maintenance Shed.
…CAPT A.R. Marschall. CEC, USN, COM30NCR and members of his staff visited NMCB-62 at Camp Campbell for an arrival conference.

1967… RADM J.W. Kelly, Chief of Chaplains, visited NMCB-74 at Camp Haskins South. NMCB-74 hosted a conference of all Construction battalions Chaplains in Vietnam.
…Seabee Team 0702 headed by LTJG J.T. Garrigan, CEC, USN, received a Letter of Commendation from the Commander 555th Medical Service Flight (MILPHAP) Advisor Team 86 for its assiatance to the 555th Medical Service Flight and the outstanding contributions to the Provincial Health Service of Long An Province.
…NMCB-40 was assigned the responsibility of constructing a cantonment for MAG-12 which consisted of a complex of twenty-six standard SEA huts which were constructed adhacent to the new MAG-12 flight-line. Also included was a secondary power distribution system with connections to the Chu Lai Base power system. The site for the complex was in an area of shifting sand dunes similar to those at the Battalion’s ammunition storage point project. The site was stabilized to prevent undermining of the buildings by placing a laterite base throughout the project area. This was one of the few truly advanced base construction projects assigned to the NMCB-40 during the 1967-1968 deployment.

1968…LCDR W.F. Frazier, CEC, USN, assumed duties as OIC, CBPAC DET RVN, relieving LCDR A.N. Olsen, CEC, USN.
…NMCB-74’s Detail Yankee, a 12-man detail consisting of Utilitiesmen, Construction Electricians, and one Equipment Operator completed the renovation of the Provincial Hospital at Quang Ngai. The project consisted of the installation of a waterborne sewage system complete with lift station and oxidation pond; upgrading of the electrical distribution system with tie-in to city power and emergency standby; rewiring and installation of American-type lighting fixtures in all buildings; and a complete water distribution system.

1969… CDR Joseph J. Gawarkiewicz, III, CEC, USN, CO NMCB-133 drove to Da Nang to meet CAPT C.F. Krickenberger, CEC, USN, COMCBLANT.
…CDR C.V.W. Popowich, CEC, USN, CO NMCB-1, returned to to Camp Haskins North from TAD to Saigon
…CBMU-301 personnel began initial construction on electrical improvements at Vung Tau
