1964… Seabee Well Drill Team #4 came under mortar and small arms fire at Ben Luc District Compound, Long An Province. Team members assiated civilian casualties while under fire.

1966…NMCB-58 completed installation of laundry equipment at the FLSG-A Laundry, Tango Area, Da Nang. The project was begun on 02 December 1966.
…RADM P.E. Seufer, CEC, USN, COM3NCB, toured the NMCB-9 camp and nearby construction projects.

1967…CAPT Turner, COM30NCR, visited NMCB-121 at Camp Campbell.
…Camp Campbell received three 81mm mortar rounds containing propaganda leaflets.
…NMCB-58 Detail Alpha Two, consisting of 1 officer and 15 enlisted men, deployed to Hoi An to commence site and road work in the construction of a ROK Marine cantonment. The Detail was absorbed into Detail Charlie on 19 January.
…NMCB-3 completed construction of the 3rd Marine Division’s 1,000 seat amphitheater in time for the Chris Noel Christmas Show.

1968…RADM J.W. Kelley, Chief of Navy Chaplains; CAPT J.R. Fisher, COM30NCR, and other adjacent unit Chaplains visited NMCB-74 at Camp Shields for the dedication of the new Camp Shields Chapel.
…Cdr. Roy Dunlap, CEC, USNR, Commanding Officer NMCB-22 presented the Purple Heart to EO2 J.A. Savage and CN F.W. Dressel for wounds received in support of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Vietnam

1969…CAPT C.F. Krickenberger, CEC, USN, COMCBLANT, visited NMCB-133 at Camp Wilkinson. At an awards ceremony the Commodore presented six NMCB-133 personnel with individual awards.
…NMCB-133 Detail Zulu rejoined the Battalion by convoy from Camp Haines.

1970…CBMU-302 NAVCAT-17 was deployed to Rach Soi to begin construction on dependant shelters

1971…CBMU-302 NAVCAT-8 completed the Supply Receiving Building at the VNN shipyard in Saigon
