1965…RADM J.S. Kelley, CHC, USN, Chief of Navy Chaplains visited NMCB-4 at Camp Shields
…RADM G.W. Kelly, CHC, USN, Chief of Navy Chaplains, dedicated the new NMCB-5 Chapel at Camp Adenir.
…RADM Paul R. Seufer, CEC, USN, COM3NCB; CAPT Albert R. Marschall, CEC, USN, COM30NCR; CAPT Carlyle J. Baker, Jr., CEC, USN, Chief of Staff, 3NCB, visited NMCB-58 at Camp Haskins South.
…NMCB-58 completed the FLC Headquarters building at Camp Books, Red Beach, Da Nang which had been begun on 26 August 1966. The project consisted of constructing 5,000 sq. ft. of general office space and four 20’ x 100’ tropical huts. This structure served as the main office space for Force Logistics Command (FLC). The exterior was essentially completed and two wings were occupied when NMCB-58 arrived in country. The completion of the interior of this and the concrete road and curbs in front made this a handsome structure.

1967…NMCB-121 completed and opened a timber bridge to traffic at map coordinate 845 540. CAPT Hill, COM32NCR, cut the ribbon in the opening ceremony.
…The new Enlisted Men’s Club at Camp Adenir was dedicated and opened for operation by CDR L.D. Lawson, Commanding Officer, NMCB-7.

1968…Christmas Eve Candlelight Protestant Chapel Service was held at the Camp Wilkinson Chapel.
…NMCB-22 completed a USAF 42-man head
…Radm. James Kelly, CHC, USN, Chief of Navy Chaplains, was on board to dedicate new Camp Rhodes Chapel.

1969…NMCB-1’s Detail Hotel, consisting of an OIC and 8 enlisted men, rejoined the main Body at Camp Haskins North
…On 24 December, Rear Adm. J.W. Kelly, CHC, USN, Chief of Navy Chaplains, visited and was briefed by the Naval Construction Forces Chaplain at Camp Haskins, Da Nang.

1970…CAPT J.F. Dobson, COMNAVFORV visited NMCB-74 Detail October.
