A few days ago I watched CSPAN coverage of the three Superintendents of West Point, Navy, and Air Force Academy testify before a congressional hearing. They were all very meek and apologetic re a recent report that noted there are very few reported claims of sexual harassment (I believe it was 4 at Navy) while the anonymous survey said up to 20% of middies were harassed. In fact I thought the situation sounded well in control but the congress folk kept insisting one unreported case was a catastrophe. I think the country has gone to unrealistic expectation on rhis issue. The Generals and Admiral Carter were falling all over the place with their remedies. Replies:
