Ground Casualty
CET3 Clifford T. Mullen was a Construction Electrician (Telephone) serving with Public Works, NAVSUPPACT (Naval Support Activity), Da Nang, RVN. On November 22, 1968, CET3 Mullen was performing duty as a member of a telephone line crew when he suffered electrical burns after being struck by a high tension electrical wire. He was evacuated to Brooke General Hospital at Fort Sam Houston, TX, where he succumbed to renal failure on January 3, 1969. [Taken from coffeltdatabase.org]
