I grew up in St Louis and was a rabid Cards fan for years. I started losing interest when Curt Flood (CF) sued and won his freedom from the "slavery"
of his contract and the Free Agency became a fact. Result...players went to the highest bidder and Cads became Cubs, etc. Good financially for them, not so for for fans ,unless you acquire a super star (Think ARod from the Texans to the Yankees).Now to me baseball is boring compared even to Golf.This move from Atlanta to Denver only punished innocent citizens who still like to go to the Ballpark for a $100+ experience.
