Rough-legged Hawk

A gorgeous Rough-legged Hawk was hunting over the fields along the east side of South Monck Dr. today (Bracebridge)

We had been at Bardsville earlier and enjoyed watching a male Northern Harrier flying low over the fields there. Other birds seen included a flock of Snow Buntings, an American Kestrel, three Trumpeter Swans, four Sandhill Cranes, and several Turkey Vultures. An American Mink kept diving in a small pool of open water near Goltz Rd. A Fisher was on the hunt east of Beatrice Townline Rd.
