Northern Shrike

This morning a Northern Shrike was at the Bracebridge Ponds. It was hunting along the roadway between cells 1&2, using sturdy weeds and cattails as perches. It flushed up four Red-winged Blackbirds that had been foraging down in the cattails and one swooped at the Shrike a couple times before flying away. The Shrike flew off towards Kerr Park on my approach.
