Carolina Wren - Bracebridge

Hi everyone 👋 I'm new here.

I've been hearing a Carolina Wren at my home since Mid August. I was reading a little more about them today and that rare birds should be reported.

I don't post to ebird because Merlin is telling me what I'm hearing, for the most part. I have 8 separate recordings from Aug 17 until today identifying the Carolina Wren, but I have not seen it. It certainly sounds like it when listening to other recordings. I understand it's frowned upon to upload to ebird without knowing for certain what you are posting.

Is anyone able to give advice as to if/how I should report? I'm happy to pass on the recordings if any of you would like to hear them.

Something else to note. When looking on ebird today I see Cindy Rusak posted "Heard singing across the street near the creek". I'm 300m from the location she noted that occurring.

Anyway, sorry for the novel! Just wanted some advice and to share with others who may be interested in seeing this lovely (and loud!) little bird.

Thanks!
Heather
