Jeff, I’m sorry you feel that the board is out to screw you and every other retiree every chance it gets. Unfortunately, that couldn’t be farther from the truth and I hope deep down you actually know it. Each one of us takes our responsibilities seriously and works hard to make sure we do what is right. Sure, there are times when we might not all agree, but I would hope we are all mature enough to keep from calling each other names. I’m sorry that you felt the need to reduce yourself to such a level.
Regarding Mr. Loper, I personally believe that it isn’t proper for a former attorney to represent cases against a former client where he had involvement. Whether there is a legal prohibition against it remains to be seen. That is the purpose of the hearing later this month.
