Re(1): OPT-IN, OPT-OUT

Larry, what do we have to lose by 'staying in'? I realize the attorney was evasive regarding Loper's involvement, but let's face it, without his(the attorney, not Loper) involvement we would have never received the 13th check the pension board tried to screw us out of. The attorney did say that he would not accept any of our money regarding payment of his fees, unless I miss interpreted something. I'm all for him getting whatever he can from the pension board. So other then the $100 the pension board kept from us and the interest, which we would never have received anyway had the attorney not won the 13th check back, what else is there for us to lose monetarily? Believe me, I'm not trying to defend this attorney. I just want to know the downside of staying in. If in fact Loper did give him info that helped win the 13th check, then I say 'Thank you, Jim Loper'. It's about time he did something right, for the right people. Are there repercussions for us to Loper being improperly involved or is that the attorney's problem? Will this effect the outcome of the interest to be paid and the attorney fees? I guess I need these things answered to determine whether to stay in or opt out. Like always, it's all about da money
