Freebies are often granted to "all active characters". A character is considered active if it has made an IC post within the last 2 weeks. Posts made after the freebie was posted do not count.

Good luck to all the people undertaking missions. Most people just have to bring something to Mallos in the Shrine, but for those who don't you will need to see Mallos after you have completed your mission in order to claim your reward.

Secondly... land points. I forgot to do a news post on them before I left, but I think most of you have figured them out anyway. ^___^ There is a section in the rules about them.
Basically, it's now possible for you to build empires on Shaman - something I've been wanting to allow for ages ;D Using land points, you can invade or claim additional territories. At the moment there are only limited ways to get land points (mainly just from Mallos or from trading points/coins) but I'm planning to add more methods soon. But basically, guys, if you want LP, just speak to Mallos in the Shrine - he loves war and stuff like that, he's hardly going to say no to people invading each other's lands xP
