two things of note.
firstly, my computer screen is dying >.> the men are coming tomorrow to take it away, nuuu. i don't know if i'm going to get a temp replacement screen or not. if i don't, i will have to try and nick mum's laptop and if that fails, i will have to resort to queuing for the family computer. the downshot of this is that i don't like mum's laptop/the family computer so i will probably spend less time on it, but the upshot is that i can't be distracted by the sims 3 because my computer is the only one powerful enough to run it. >.<
second thing.
my dad, who is the household earner (my mum & i both have part time jobs to support ourselves but we're both also in full time education) is up for disciplinary at work. don't ask, i don't want to go there. it's at the point now where if he isn't sacked, he will hand in his resignation anyway.
the problem is that in devon, where i live, there aren't a whole lot of jobs out there.
everything is all up in the air at the moment, and i'm particularly stressed because this puts a big fat question mark over my university education. i need to wait and see how this pans out because if it all goes horribly wrong i'm going to have to defer entry and work for a year to support my family.
i'm spending pretty much every day working anyway, either at school or one of my jobs, sooo... yeah >.< if i've snapped at you recently or seemed more grumpy/bitter than usual, this is probably why. xP
<3 with a bit of luck things will settle down, but i don't think they will. gotta be optimistic though, right?
moderator positions are under review, and i may be asking people to step down/remove jobs/take on a few jobs.
so. now's probably a good time to be impressing me.
please try and get your missions done as soon as possible.
