During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

TO DARKNESS, TO SUFFER WHEN I FALL
I WILL SEE YOU IN HELL

Poison hearts will never change..
I caught the small looks he gave me and held my small closed lip smile, watching silently in return as he assessed just whom I appeared to be - I never judged a book by it’s cover myself, but it did help me to assist in knowing just what it may be about. His eyes lingered on my small array of visible scars, feeling the sensation of his gaze trace along each mark of imperfection, warming along my neck where the deeper, better hidden ones were. A wolf who went into battle and returned with no scars was a weak wolf, one who returned with too many was a fool. I had my fair share, but it was from my past; I was a fighter and not a lover, yes, but I tried to balance both of them out evenly enough. What was to be was to be, and if that called for me to take action and kill then I would not hesitate. If a challenge was once again made on my land then I would head towards it with upturned lips, a smile that only someone who knew of real pain was capable of.

Life had not been fair to me in the past short years of my life, but alas I doubted it was fair to anyone really. Everyone held their share of some kind of scarring, whether it be emotional or otherwise.

In silence I watched as the brujo turned his pate away from me, eyes having dropped my casual gaze for a few seconds advanced. I let him go over whatever he was thinking, reading by simple body posture that the thought swimming about in his skull were not favoured ones. King Kong spoke of an interesting history without saying anything, his demeanour being enough to pick up on such a fact. I could imagine him dominant, but at the same time I could not. It was frustrating really, but did not let it worry me too much; when he was ready I’m sure he would speak. I would do the same in return, and as he had been studying me I knew he was half on to my case as it was.

A few minutes past as he suffered silently. I folded my hinds under my rump gracefully, sitting down upon my haunches. Banner instantly wrapped daintily around my side and came to rest upon the top of my forepaws. The tip twitched as I settled, auds twisting backwards slightly. There was another wolf coming towards my territory, two rather.. Inside my stomach I felt the butterflies rise as I realised one scent was familiar. Instantly my posture relaxed a little and my skull dropped, raising only when Kong had finished with his own thoughts. My curiosity spiked and I returned my auditories to the polite position, full attention towards the velvet laced words that fell from the obsidian brujo’s jaws. I knew by tone that he was not flirting or trying to romance me, and I gave a small honest duck of my head in a thanks as he continued.

When it came to the topic of my brother I let a small giggle drip dangerously from my maw, appreciating his humour. So there was more to this boy then pure sincerity, and from what I had been hearing I was liking the package. A good way to start a new pack, I could honestly say. He might just be a lucky not-so-little charm. I let my beige luminaries settle gently on the brujo’s mask as his expressions shifted, easily reading them as a much lighter mood of humour. He was relaxing that meant, as was I. The question that was next to come made my smile turn into a grin, and I raised my skull a little in recognition of his words.

‘Smart boy.’

Letting the question loiter in my mind for about a minute, tossing it about before answering. My tone was clear and precise, I did not hesitate nor falter as I did come to finally answer him.

‘I chose this place because of it’s secrecy as only those who really know what they are looking for will stumble across this pack; I chose this place because of the promise it possesses of a new beginning. No members in lands that are long empty, no wolves who will turn around and try to run you out for making a living. This was an open opportunity to try in my own way to make a change, give a home to those who really deserve it, for those who need a family and otherwise lack one. These lands.. Well they just seemed to be comfortable in themselves to be the answer to what I wanted.’

It was hard really to speak of just how I tried to in vision things, and knew it probably sounded silly. I did not care what he saw from my words though, it was simply the way my answer was.

[OOC: sorry if something doesn't make sense, i am so tired! :3]
