During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

TO DARKNESS, TO SUFFER WHEN I FALL
I WILL SEE YOU IN HELL

Poison hearts will never change..

I couldn’t fucking believe she still hadn’t moved. A heavy sigh dropped from my jaws and I turned towards Kal, flashing him a quick smile at the offer. I couldn’t believe she was dumb enough to stand there and wait for the pups to answer her. There were more important things to deal with right now than this, so I gave the wolves - at this point TEP and Kal - a nod. I was beyond caring at this point and I had more wolves waiting; ones who were in the right and wouldn’t waste my time with this bullshit.

‘Have your way with them, guys. I either want them dead and cold or so far out of these lands that they can’t stumble back in accidentally.’

It definitely did sound like lambs to a slaughter.
I gave them a small grin as I turned slightly, needing to leave but not wanting to leave them with the trouble.

Something stopped me though and I turned back to the little group, finding the one pup who bothered to try. I stared at him, gaze unwavering as I once again addressed the other two.

‘Don’t kill Aindreas. If he wishes to stay then he is welcome, but the rest are not.’

It was all I had to say, and depending on whether the pup decided to stay or not was not that much of a concern. Of course I didn’t really want a small brujo like him wasting his time with a wolfess like Casey, he really did deserve better. Either way what would be would be, and I had things to do.

With a small apology muttered under my breath, I started back into the shadows. My eyes returned to the scene once, but there was no more hesitations. I continued on, slithering through the lands to see to the next wolf.
