During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The huntress still seemed hesitant to talk much and he wondered at it. Did he not seem friendly enough? He was sure he could be a haunting figure sometimes with his all black coat, dull gold orbs, and big muscular frame but it just hid the gentleman inside very well. She was of course the opposite of him, with a slender lithe frame, pearly white coat, strange speckled pools, and pinkish tipped eavesdroppers. She was certainly something new for him to look at anyway. She looked at him for what seemed like a few seconds then was off with her gaze taking in the scenery of Munashii. Her voice sounded and it was soft and lady like, just like he had expected it to sound coming from such a petite frame. She said she must have joined after the meeting. He nodded his skull, not about to argue it. She may be right, he couldn't say that Angel or Paranoia hadn't skipped out after the meeting and found her on the borders. He never knew where those two were most of the time anyway.

He was getting himself ready to come up with something else to ask, anything to keep the conversation rolling, when she suddenly blurted out a question, asking what he wanted with her. His pupils widened slightly in surprise, taken aback by her question and why she had thought to ask that. It was almost like one of those questions you would ask your captor when you've been kidnapped, someone who must want something. Did he seem that type to her? Did he seem like the type who would only talk to her cause he wanted something? He must have done something to offend her or make her think that in some way that he wasn't aware of. Trying to get his composure back, he glanced at her then away, not wanting to stare lest he offend her some more.

Want with you? Well, if you put it that way, your company right now, I guess. I had no motives in mind when I approached you, that's for sure. I just saw another pack member who I hadn't met and figured I'd drop by to say hi and chat. Am I bothering you, Dekay?

He felt he had to ask. If she was as blunt as he figured she was, she would tell him honestly how she felt. If she didn't want to talk or simply wasn't the social type, he would kindly dismiss himself and walk away, considering her a friend. He would have nothing against her.
