Thanks for your response. After reading your reply, I too questioned the facts of my post. Upon researching the matter, this is what I found. The Parker Lawsuit was filed in June of 2007. Shortly thereafter, the Trustees instructed fund attorney Ron Cohen to review FS 112.61. After his review, Mr. Cohen reported back to the Trustees that a 13th. Check should have been paid. The Trustees had an actuary study done in support of this decision and in February 2008 Retires did get paid their checks. In my earlier post, I relied too much on my memory and should have researched it first. The above correction should put things on the right track. I apologize for using my memory rather than research the matter first. Hope this makes thing clearer on this matter.
