During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Looking for a pack

The cinnamon, white and black colored wolf strutted through the forest, his large muscular shoulders swinging back and fourth with every paw step he took. His ears twitched every time the smallest sound was made, even if it was just a bird singing in the distance. When Leaf had finally met a small opening between the trees he heard a snap behind him. His whiskers twitched as he spun around, his heart racing. When he had realized it had just been a squirrel he let out a small huff and turned back around, sheathing his claws.

Leaf began to pace forward, his paws sinking into the soft ground with every step he took. He closed his eyes dimly as he crossed through trees that made the boundaries of the small opening. When he had finished padding through the undergrowth, Leaf picked up his pace, changing course whenever a tree came into view. Light mist clung to the large wolf, making his skin crawl. He stopped for a second to shake his fur then began to pad once again through the forest. What am I even looking for? He thought to himself, sighing. I guess I'll just keep looking until something interesting happens...

Leaf crouched to the ground as the air became tense. It felt as if something was spying on him, watching his every move.. He pushed the thought aside. This isn't any time to watch that imagination of yours get so out of hand! He snapped at himself in his mind. He had now decided. He was going to keep going until he found a pack, a family, to call his own. Anything that got in his way would be killed.

Leaf had walked for what felt like miles, when the scenery began to change. Dead trees began to come into view, crossing as if they were telling something to attack Leaf and kill him no matter what. He narrowed his eyes, then let out a dim smile. He actually kind of liked it here. He turned his head back on the path, his pace getting slower and slower. The brute's paws ached from all his travelling, but he pushed on. When he had begun to smell wolves in the distance, he quickened his pace and his ears lay flat against his head. This was it. It was time for him to find a home.
