Rows and flows of angel hair

" I believe everything has a purpose." Stella felt no foolishness as she said this to herself in a polished mirror. She knew it already, it was simply reminder. She smiled in that sunny way of hers, and a few passing men shot her hopeful looks. Her dramatic hair, dark and heavy, accentuated her sinuous, leonine body. The red lips capped it off. Stella paid no attention to her appearance as a general rule, except to care for her skin and to make sure that she was healthy. The only things she had been able to find in the 'safe haven',were rosewater and peppermint extract. They did well enough though. She wafted a delicious scent wherever she went, and she had learned a good amount about the health properties of mint and roses. She seemed even more sunny and warm than usual, and everyone in her presence had commented on the energy she exuded, in the time of strife that had befallen Shaman. Stella insisted that there was no use moaning over what had passed, for it was over, and done with. So she continued life, making sure she did her part with the utmost happiness. The brunette picked up her long, gypsy-styled skirt, and made her way to the outer rim of the core. It was rather dark out, and it was the barest of chilly temperatures. But Stella thought the air would od her good, and so, she walked along. She seemed to sap the light from around her, and use it to cause herself to glow. But it was an illusion...she was no more radiant than the next person. Her height was a marker for her low status, which she heavily protested against. She had once met a rather strange girl in the woods, who had insisted on taking action against the unfair balance of power. Stella shook the thought from her head and continued on her smiling, midnight stroll, being careful to avoid the water's edge. To her, there was something that didn't seem quite right about swimming among the dead. It was disrespect at it's fullest. If they could not bury the fae that had perished...could they not at least pay simple respect towards them, by leaving them to their -however temporary- watery graves? Stella was pondering this issue, when she suddenly recieved a violent shove from behind. Stella gave a little exclamation of surprise, before stumbling forward, and landing with her hands wrist-deep in water. She cringed and pulled herself to her feet, making sure nothing else had been damaged besides her probably now bruised hands. Stella turned around to see what or who had caused the collision, when she heard a strange, quivering mumble. She tilted her head to the side and raised her eyebrows when she saw a girl standing there, looking sad and a little confused.
" I guess I needed to do a little exercising anyway..." She joked as she moved a little closer to the slight figure. She was beautiful, with a curtain of long silvery blonde hair. It reminded Stella of Aura's somehow...yet notnearly as bright. No, it was the color of pale winter sunshine. Stella bit her lip as she resisted caressing the soft features of the girl's face, to see if it was actually as creamily delicate as it appeared. She grinned, flashing a row of pearl-white teeth.
" No need to apologize sweetheart, I should have been more aware of what was going on. Yet the night itself seems to be moving, so I doubt I could have seen or heard or felt you coming, if I had wanted to." She picked a little piece of natural debris out of the slighter one's hair. She could sense, somehow, that though they were quite the same size, the female before her was lacking in a certain kind of strength that she herself posessed. She lowered her brows then raised one back up again.
" Well can't you speak at all? We'll start with an introduction. My name is Stella. What's your's?" She held her soft, elegant hand out towards the younger woman.
