The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

//Kimani//Female//Adult//Alpha of Andere Seite//Mate to Plague//Pupless//

The moisture soaked maiden crept through the shadows silently. It was those secret paths that only a select few traveled. Oddly enough, Kimani was in her more sane frame of mind these days. At least for now. The large, muscular femme took a turn left, heading instead of further into the land, more towards the border. She could smell a stranger patiently waiting as well as the fragrance of a pack member also approaching. She wondered in a side thought where oh where Plague might be. Her stomach held a slight bugle and it was his fucking fault! Sure, she had lead him to believe that she was going to eat the mixture of plants that would cause a sort of wolf abortion … but she had never said for sure. And in the end, Kimani had decided against it. Besides, they eventually needed some heirs running around, right? And now, when the pack was low on members, was as good a time as any. Perhaps the little lives growing within her was what was helping her return to sanity in recent days. Her feral yellow optics hadn't been laid upon her charcoal knight in several nights. Perhaps he was out? Honestly she had done a poor job of keeping track, if this was by an average couple's standards. But Kimmy and Plague were different ...

They were dependent on each other in a very strong kind of way … but at the same time, they were still independent beings like no other mates could be. Sometimes over a week might go by without seeing or hearing from the other, and still that strong bond remained like the strongest flame of a stubborn fire. It would take a so much more than time apart to shake their trust, and that was something special about their relationship. And to be completely honest … Kimani was the type that, as long as Plague told her, she wouldn't care if he cheated. As long as his loyalty and trust and love remained to her, and he didn't slip on being her mate, then what difference would it make? Really? Sex and love really didn't have anything to do with each other in her mind. If he was trying to hide it then she'd probably be pissed because that was a trust issue, but otherwise, what the hell?

The alphess arrived just before the ashen pack mate. But, instead of heading right on out there, the queen laid down within the bushes where she hid … deciding to first listen in on the two. From what she saw, right away, the newcomer was sitting as opposed to submitting as it really should be. Being unusual for herself [what was really usual for Kimani though?] she decided to only count this as a small strike. Like, half of one. Unusual for herself, the minx was feeling happy and almost … lenient, in a way. She observed the approach of the unfamiliar omega. The excited bark from the pallid newcomer was not lost, either. Kimani thought this scenario was good … whichever way this ended up going for the one behind the border, it was at least proving the female monarch a chance to meet a pack member she had yet to introduce herself to. The omega approached in a friendly sort of fashion.

"Hello, there. I'm Misty. What's your name?"

"Greetings Misty, I'm Janga. You're in Andere Siete?”

The newcomer's question seemed a bit redundant to Kimani … of course, if a wolf is on border patrol, then they are part of that pack. This wolf … this Janga had much to learn if she wished to be a productive member of Andere Seite. Her auds perked towards the pack member as she spoke once more.

"Pretty name, Janga. Yes, I'm in Andere Siete. I've been in this pack for a while. I guess you're waiting to see an alpha about joining yourself. I wish I knew where they were."

An amused grin twisted onto Kimmy's pale features. Honestly she was bit surprised that the alabaster femme had not at least requested the stranger to roll over into a submitting stance. It was usually custom for border patrol to do so … but she would learn. As said before, Kimani was in an unusually lenient, happy state of mind. Finally, she decided to let herself be known to the waiting pair. Her tail curled up like a scorpion's, tightly flowing above her spine. Her skull was tilted up and her ears were slightly placed forward in a dominant fashion. Her hackles even spiked ever so slightly to show her higher rank over the two wolves before her. She wasn't flossing her stature, exactly, more being sure it was clear. Her expression was now complete business, her grin from before having completely faded before she emerged out into the open. The alphess nodded towards Misty before placing herself square to Janga.

You've been respectful of my pack member, so it earns you another chance at being properly prepared for an alpha. Submit, darling.

Her voice was surprisingly gentle, contrasting greatly with her serious, almost harsh expression. Now it was on the newcomer where her fate rested.
