Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

Dracana yawned. Things were dull, even for her. Jaeger could take care of himself and was well trained. Mekiko would do as she requested when she asked, so his presence was lacking. Her daughter... Her daughter was stubborn and thick-headed off doing her own thing. The grey wolfess shook her head slightly as she walked through the tree line towards Ice Mountain where she made her home. And even Nephthys! The dragoness was raising her own hatchling. There was a plus to it, as Dracana was the first thing it saw and it already had taken to its lessons well. That pleased the stocky fem to a small degree. It meant when Nephthys passed, there would be one to take her place.

Her tail swayed back and forth with her steps as she reached the base of the mountain. Her green eyes cast a glance around, narrowing slightly, as if something was off. There was no sound but the wind in the trees. Her ears flicked. Nothing ever got past her, not in a very long time. Maybe she was just getting old. Dracana laughed at the thought. Old... Age was relative if you didn't think about it. She still moved just as swiftly and silently as she had years ago.

Strangely enough, today she stayed off the mountainside. Instead, Dracana was walking along the base, paws feeling grass beneath them for the longest amount of time in quite awhile. Maybe she was getting old. The only problem with that was she didn't quite trust any of her students to take her place, not yet at least.

Dracana's nose twitched slightly. No, none of them would do. Jaeger had the most potential and was the most logical choice. THe grey fem nodded slightly to herself, yes he was the most logical choice, though she had every intention of waiting until she was knocking on death's door to do that. And that wasn't going to happen for a long time if Dracana had anything to do about it. A small laugh escaped her as she finally settled in a shaded area and looked out into the forest, her mind lingering on everything and yet nothing in particular. In fact, she was actually hoping for a small bit of amusement should someone be brave enough to cross her path.
