The silicon chip inside her head got switched to overload

Nobody’s going to go to school today, she’s going to make them stay at home

Her daddy doesn’t understand it, he always said she was good as gold

She heard him coming, and wiped the tears from her face before he would be able to see them. She Then turned to him and rested her head on his shoulder as he spoke, taking in the recognisable scent of Arthur’s stallion, Duke.
“I don’t care…” Lilith’s mind said to him as she relaxed against his body. “I missed you, Arty...” Strange how that even in her head, he was Arty, not Arthur, not King Arthur. He was still the boy she had known since childhood, and even if he did have the thoughts of a long dead king going through his head, he also was… well, him. He could not be Arty without King Arthur, not really, but he could not be King Arthur here, without Arty. Living in the world of fairies had probably changed Arthur more than he would admit, but it was probably a good thing. If he had not changed, maybe she would not love him the way she did.

After a few long minutes she pulled away from Arthur’s chest, feeling like herself once again, and scrunched up her face. “When was the last time you washed?” She grinned, running one hand through his dark hair as her lips made their way to his strong jaw line. She knew what Arthur wanted, after all, she was a telepath, and she could not live life without having a slight pressure on his mind, just to sense where he was. Not because she did not trust him, but because she was scared of loosing him. She knew how he wanted a child, an heir, a son. But she also knew that would not happen until they were married. More than anything she wanted to have a child with Arthur, the man she had loved since she was a small child. Her best friend. But she wanted any child of hers to be safe, to not live in the constant fear that Shaman seemed to be dwelling in at the moment.
“Minn,” she started. Arthur knew how her younger sister had been taken during the curse that had made so many fairies… well, not themselves. “She had her baby, Arty…” Her head tilted and her long golden hair flowed to one side, over her shoulder and the luscious curve of her breast. “Mum is trying to take care of him, because she can not cope. She is just a child, Arty, and I do not know what I can do to help…” She sighed softly and kissed his jaw again, the stubble on his chin that Lilith made him keep short tickled her lips as she did so.
“The boy, his name is Israfel. He looks like Fa-… Like Mallos. ” She almost slipped, and hoped that he did not notice the way her eyes darted to the floor. She was just nervous about talking about her nephew.

She tried to change the subject. “But everything will be okay, won’t it? I mean, we are going to fight Mallos, and he will loose. There are hundreds of us, and only one of him…” Even her thoughts sounded unsure, her mind’s voice was trembling and she noticed that her body was shaking too. She would be fine though. She had to be. Everything had to work out for the best so that she and Arthur could live ‘happily ever after’. That was the dream, at least. To get married, have children – beautiful children – who would love her and Arthur. At least, they would not end up stabbing him in the back for the throne… she hoped. She was not one of those gifted few who could tell the future… Then again, was that really a gift?
