She wondered what she had done to ignite such madness, such deep contempt within his mind, and she wondered what she could do to snuff it out. Not being able to come to a conclusion, she began to pore over his lyrics once more, attempting to sift them for a new meaning. Finding none she decided to take the words as they were and answer accordingly. At the risk of sounding impertinent, the femme decided on a degree of transparency,

Her words may have been mistaken for flirting had they not been laced with a certain insubordination. It seemed like it had been an eternity since she had gotten lost in the perpetual night of Munashii Gekko and she thought sardonically how pleased her Loiya would be, knowing her pup was a member of a deeply mysterious pack led by an extreme Omega in the absence of its true leaders. Had she been older, she would have recognized the ease at which a trained wolf could snatch the land from under Kong’s solitary paws but, being as inexperienced as she was, Ladyhawke thought only of becoming a warrior with the magnificent brute as her mentor. Fluffing out her golden-brown fur, the femme began to feel the atmosphere slowly transcending into a more soporific mood. Had she been alone, she might have even curled up and slept. However, having company and reprehensible company at that, Hawk thought it wiser to remain as she was though she knew she wouldn’t be able to retain the unruffled front more much longer,

“Thank you, Kong, for allowing me to add my teenage persona to your ranks. I must ask now to be granted my leave as I am hungry and wish to go hunt,”

At the word hunt, Lady’s chest swelled with pride for she was renowned as an exceptional huntress. All that was left was for her to learn some fighting skills before she dared show her petite pate in Munashii again. Only now did the dim, half-formed thought of challenging for alpha arise in her mind and she stored it away secretly for future reference.
