The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

Sadakah seemed to instantly regret her words and for a moment, Misty was able to forget her own emotions and embrace sympathy, feeling her motherly instinct kick already. She had never had the joy of having a litter before but she'd dreamed it ever since Hunter, her first mate. They had grown up together and fell in love as teens. Once they reached adulthood, so much more seemed possible and they started planning to have their very own pups. It was to happen that next spring but that raccoon with the saliva dripping from its jaws ruined everything, infecting the minx's dear Hunter and leaving him to go mad. And go mad, he did. The poor velca had to isolate him from the rest of the pack, who had been pulling away anyway over the past few weeks seeing the brujo's crazed pools and hearing his snarls at night. It only grew worse and the day finally came when he attacked Misty and wouldn't relent, snapping his mighty jaws at her. She did the only thing she could think of, grabbing a rock in her chompers and throwing it with all her weight at him. It was luck that made it hit him square between the twins and killed him. She cried for days after and left the pack, never wanting to see that den they'd slept side by side in ever again.

She had nightmares forever after seeing her crazed mate's face again and again. It was only when she met Phonix, the gentle gray hunter with the big heart, that she was finally able to sleep in peace. He was her best friend and they hung out all over Blossom before deciding to take the next step and confess their love for each other. It seemed a lifetime ago now. Phonix left her for some time and then returned. Everything felt like new again yet at the same time so familiar and she hadn't even gotten a chance to get used to it again before she awoke one morning to find the virile gone. She followed his trail all the way to the stream and couldn't pick up the scent there after.

Life could be cruel sometimes. It seemed Sadakah was reliving her own nightmares as the ivory ess looked on with soft gentle spheres. She shook her dial and spoke softly. It's okay, I know you didn't mean to. Let's just say the pain is still fresh. Sighing, she watched the fem shake her own scalp as if to rid herself of her own memories and couldn't help but return the smile the huntress sent to her. She nodded. Yes, moms can be good at things like that. Next, she stared in amusement as the younger demoness layed down and rolled over, mimicking what she said about submitting. A short giggle escaped her labias. She couldn't help it. Nodding her crown, she smiled. Yes, you're doing it exactly right. Watching the fae squirm, Misty wondered what her own pups would be like. Energetic and full of spirit, hopefully, with a good attitude for life and no bad luck in their future. She hoped they would look like Him, too. Then she watched as the czaress rolled back over and asked her a question. Of course, I'd love to be friends. Oh, and I have no doubt you'll get in. Then she gave a reassuring smile. Again, her nares twiched, wondering where the alphas were.
