Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

(Just a friendly reminder to pay attention to what is in quotes and what is not. Squall didn't say "to hell with birthdays" out loud )

The feline's brows raised with mild interest at the little owl's indignation, nose giving a twitch as he resisted the urge to laugh. "I beg to differ," Squall challenged with a small smirk pulling at one side of his white and silver dusted maw. "It is nasty, if you ask me. And if could be avoided if you simply did not eat the bones and fur. I don't, and therefore you won't see me coughing up bits of animal encrusted in saliva and stomach juice." The young liger's paws flexed, silver claws extending and scraping quietly against the hardened snow, kneading it in his small sense of triumph. Birds... they just didn't know what refinement was.

The large cub's head tilted ever so slightly as the owl twisted, icy blue eyes widening only momentarily. Owls were such strange creatures, able to move their bodies in ways that would only mean a broken spine to most animal. Strange... "Neither does my brother," Squall picked up the conversation a little farther, not sure why as it wasn't his usual agenda. "I suppose that's why he never told me when I was born. I guess he feels that it's unimportant. And, really, it is when you think about it. What does age matter? As long as you are capable of something, your age shouldn't bar you from participation in acts requiring your skills." His pale gaze drifted past the owl, staring through the bird as he reflected inwardly on his own words.
