The tiger nodded in agreement. Takeshi would have enjoyed re-telling it more as well. But, he accepted that there wasn't much he could do about it now.

The golden tabby laughed, flexing his paws and claws briefly. "A mourning spirit, it's so... touching," another fit of laughter crept through the tiger, even as MoonRiver's spirit appeared, as if summoned by his words. He turned his head, blue eyes locking onto the transleucent form. His tail lashed, the smile still playing on his bloody muzzle. He still hadn't bothered to clean up, and Takeshi was certain she would notice. He actually half hoped she'd be upset he was flaunting it.

"I would say it's true. This would be my first encounter with your /dearest/," Takeshi bit back a bit of laughter, "Though I did tell you he abandoned you. Maybe if you would have listened, you might've lived." The feline was still grinning, tail lashing back and forth. It's true, he did tell her. And maybe if she'd accepted it then, she could have fought back and survived with injuries. Ah well, it was the past now.
