The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

Firestorm was laying down near the stream that went through the territory of Andere Seite pack lands. The grey femme was underneath a pine tree, seeking out simple peace from the pack life. It was calm and quiet, and the alphas seemed to be among each other. She couldn’t help but wonder if her alphess was with pups, but it was a simple thought that was gone a moment later. Her mind turned to her mate, Beowulf, as she wondered where he had disappeared to. She was worried of course, but for some reason she felt like he was safe, at least that’s what she kept telling herself. He had gone off before to help his family, and all she could do now was hope that was where he was now. Besides, if something would of happened, she would know, she just would.

Giving a yawn the fea wondered if sleep would be in her favor. After going around the border since dawn she was quite tired by the time late afternoon came around. Maybe a nap wouldn’t be so bad she thought. She was pondering whether to do one more border check for loners, when a howl caught her auds. Pricking them up, she tried to determine what it meant, loner seeking to join, a challenger, what? This couldn’t be right she told herself, this couldn’t be right.

It was definitely a challenger, but why the hell was his smell coming from inside the territory. She rose to her paws, her head and tail in the rank of gamma, she set off out a fast run to find out what was going on. Her shoulder fur bristled as she worried what the intruder would be doing as he wandered through the lands. Pups were here, and she was taking no chances, especially if this stranger was a threat. Anger at the whole thing gave her energy, and she would use that energy to fight this intruder if she had to. She wasn’t afraid, and she wouldn’t be scared off by some big male that acted like he owned the place. A smile came to her face as she thought of how the male would of fainted if he saw Plague or either one of the deadly sisters, Nephthys and Kimani. Oh how he would of cowered in front of them, but yet his foolishness would make him die, that she was sure of. From the way the male was moving, she would come up behind him, and would already have saw the way he urinated the place. Still following his scent she slowed to a walk so she would be undetected. The wind was in her favor, for it was blowing her way, and so unless the brute was paranoid and looking behind him every second, he wouldn’t notice her.

As she came up behind him, she let her whole body bristle, and her hackles rise as a snarl came from her. She waited for the brute to turn around after hearing her, for their was no doubt in her mind he would have been deaf to her snarling challenge. He would be foolish to accept, and instead of heading toward the border. The brute was so stupid, why didn’t he stop at the border? This was her home, what right did he have to waltz into here and challenge her alphas? Didn’t he have respect? Why wasn’t he waiting at the border? Her musical box parted to let her deadly melody come out, letting the brute know she was a force to welcome with.

“How dare you enter Andere Seite? Get the fuck out, before I rip your throat from you body and feed it to the pups!”

She wasn’t joking, and that was clear from the way her form took a few stiff legged movements forward in a threatening manner. Her hackles remained up as she waited for a fight if he would bring one. This was her home, not his, was he so sure he could fight her here? Where she knew all the shadows, crannies, and nooks, and he didn’t know a damn place here. Would he really put his life on the line for that. Must not be a good life she though to herself. During all these thoughts she didn’t look away from him, her eyes stayed upon him during her few seconds of thought. Now she was still waiting for a reply or action, deciding to only give him a bit longer. She would kill him if he didn’t leave, kill him right where he stood. Simply because her protective nature had taken a toll, and she wouldn’t have a stranger roaming the pack lands, especially with youngsters around. That was his mistake, and he would pay for it shortly. Pearly whites were revealed as the skin above her nose scrunched up as she gave another snarl. Emerald orbs started at the brutale refusing to blink as she challenged him with everything she had. Mind, spirit, and body. If this male didn’t leave, today may very well be his last day.
