Serenity let out a soft, content sigh as she lay in the den beside her two daughters, she was tired, and rearing pups was harder than she had thought. The Ethiopian wolfess looked up as her mate entered, a soft smile spread across her maw. �Hello sweetheart.� She said in return to his greeting, moving her silver eyes to look over the product of his hunt. �It�s a good kill Koa,� she said, standing and going to his side, licking his cheek gently. �Thank you so much,� she whispered before bringing a gentle nuzzle to his neck. She watched her daughters carefully, making sure that nothing bad happened to them�

Koati yawned and, finally noticing that her mother and sister had moved she opened her eyes slowly, trying to find her parents or sister� but she couldn�t see anything� Serenity looked to her daughters, �Koa� t-their eyes are open�� she said softly, knowing that her mate would want to know this� Koati wandered towards her parents, the mostly white pup had black fur on her ears and three grey U shaped markings on her back, she had foggy grey eyes that clearly showed her disability� Serenity felt her heart sink slightly when she saw her eyes� she knew that at least one of her pups would be blind but� it still hurt to see that� She rested her head on her mate�s shoulder, clenching her eyes shut, letting out a sharp exhale of breath�
