Niyol tilted his head again. It was difficult to understand what was really going on in her mind without any facial expressions like he saw on his mother, siblings, or even Tael. He decided to listen and watch carefully the way she stepped. Something about the way she stared and the way she moved seemed to keep his attention. Niyol took a slight step forward, wanting to comfort her in her sadness. The problem was the fact he wasn't sure how. "Maybe we can go up the mountain, see if we can find it from up there?" he offered, wondering if it was a possibility.

His ears laid back when she answered a negative to his question. That wasn't good. Niyol wasn't sure what to make of it. They were gone from her life. Somehow, the mostly white youth doubted they were coming back for her. Maybe he could take her home? Though Niyol wasn't so sure how that would work out. He wondered if she might be alright with trying to go up the mountain, though he was still relatively unaware of her blindness. At the moment, he just decided she didn't want to look fully at him due to her situation.
