During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

My lip had rolled back, showing off my ivory scissors when the breeze drifted by me. My auds perked and my head snapped towards the direction of the border. Instantly, before my brain even processed anything, I was off. My pads carried my petite frame with ease across the dense terra. I kept inhaling constantly to pull in his scent. Surely he had not followed me to Munashii Gekko. Yet, the closer I got, the more I was realizing he had. Silly silly wolf. Was he willing to give up his very freedom to join the pack I was in?

As I approached his scent was as strong as ever. My auds tilted forward slightly as I could hear the steady thump of paws hitting the earth. It was constantly moving....was he pacing? I eased up behind some large brush and peered through a small crack. Sure enough there he was, with all his beautifulness, pacing back and forth on the border. He looked stressed, and this caused me the pout. I didn't like seeing Death Note in distress. Actually, I had never seen him in distress.

I pushed through the thick greenery and my teal pools where now focused directly on him. My orbs where now actually more green than blue, due to the lack of protein recently. My southern belle lyrics slowly pushed their way from my chest and off my tongue. I was now just a few feet from him, catching my-self smelling to see if I could catch that bitches scent on him. It was still there, but very vague. Thank you to the gods above for that.

Note'? Is err'thing okay?

I stood there, staring at him, waiting on a response of some sort. He wasn't looking okay at the moment, and my tone was full of concern.
