During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Insanity is a timorous condition to cope with, most suffer their entire lives.
I don't suffer, see my smile?
----------------------------------

Her chuckling died down gently as she continued to gaze upon the male opposite to her. Her mind still could not comprehend as to why he had such a hold over her; why the thought of him caused her body to shiver lightly with delight. She shook her muzzle slightly once more, attempting to clear her mind of these silly thoughts. She wasn’t used to them, and was therefore slightly alarmed. But when she held herself still again, she could feel a light scorching sensation traveling through every vein and nerve in her body as his gaze was pin pointed on her. Before she’d panic completely, she forced these thoughts out of her mind; she didn’t want to act impulsively on any random thought that made its way into her fractured mind.

At this point, her muscles had in fact grown slightly cramped due to the fact that she was holding her body stock still. Upon realizing this, Miya would allow her muscles to unclench and relax greatly. The resulting effect had her posture dipping down slightly, her height returning to normal as she was a bit smaller than Kong. She now had to tilt her jaw up in order to hold her silver gaze on his golden one, but she didn’t mind having to look up at him. In fact, she enjoyed the fact that she could now look at anyone, let alone this male. She was enjoying the knowledge that he had approached her, had spoken first and had meant her no harm. He simply had wanted to warn her about his particular pack, curious to know if she knew anything at all about them. She also found herself wondering to if he had any other motives to speaking with her, but her thoughts were suddenly broken by his speech.

He spoke of their pack being fairly new, as well as not having poised their ranks quite yet. He then mentioned on how it definitely was not the pack for him any longer, and it hadn’t seemed to first glance be for her, either. She affirmed this comment with a gentle nod of her jaw, as she herself had determined the same thing. It was then that she decided to allow him the knowledge that she herself had decided not too soon before. A light smile etched itself across her lips before she spoke; a pause to enjoy the mere sight of him.

Kong, I must thank you for your approaching me today. I don’t think I would have known anything about this pack, before it was too late. Not that I believe they would have harmed me, but more so that I wouldn’t have been able to hold my tongue As I’m sure you’ve already noticed.. I’m not quite the one to hold back on much. I tend to come off as quite bold, as well as a bit large headed. But it’s simply the way that I have taught myself to be; completely honest as well as loyal. I know the difference between right and wrong all too well, for I myself have done wrong in my life. But I believe that is a conversation for another day, you seem to be enjoying our quite simple meeting at the moment. I wouldn’t want to spoil that for you. Yet as for this pack.. Well, I believe another pack would suit me better. And for giving me that chance to right my wrong, I thank you, graciously.

Upon speaking her last word, that same lighthearted, tender smile etched its way across her lips. She never could help the way she spoke; the formal way the words seemed to roll off her tongue, the light accent that seemed to grace her speech. She really didn’t have an accent, but it was more so simply the way she spoke and fourmed her words that seemed to give her one. And she herself couldn’t deny the fact that she was enjoying this conversation, this meeting, quite immensely. She noted that they were still a slight distance from one another, she being nearer to the border of the pack behind her, whilst he was graciously numerous feet in front of her. She made a small decision, before she lightly as well as slowly made her way forward. Each limb rose gracefully, as each paw was placed against the cool earth with delicacy.

Miya found herself stopping her motions a mere foot and a half from him, her posture still nonthreatening to him. Though by now, she had hoped he viewed her more as a friend, a comrade, then a stranger. As an act of friendliness as well as gratitude, she slowly leaned forward before her moist nose brushed lightly against the male’s jaw. She simply nudged him lightly, a gentle caress from one to another. After the brief body contact, she’d quickly pull away, her body threatening to lock up every joint and muscle and sinew.

She kept her eyes on his own, praying to dear fate that he couldn’t tell that within her chest, her heart had begun to hammer away mercilessly against her ribs the moment she had come into contact with him. She was sure he would be able to spy the glint that was sure to have shone beneath her gaze, but she wasn’t focused on that. What she was focused on was the fact that he had caused her to feel that way at all. It intimidated her, as had the thought of him having such a hold over her did. She desperately wanted to ask him what sort of power he wielded, but she decided this would have been a foolish question. She knew that no such wolf had mystical powers within their grasp, but she still couldn’t help the feeling that this feeling she had wasn’t a normal occurrence for meeting someone for the first time.

And yet she continued to hold her tongue, simply allowing her silver gaze to roam over his fourm once more. For some quaint reason, she couldn’t seem to get enough of him. She enjoyed allowing her gaze to trace along the contours of his fourm, taking in every scar that laced his bodice as well as the way his pelt clung to his thick body. She couldn’t help but admire his stature, in human terms she would have immediately dubbed him handsome. But she didn’t have quite the same word for it, nor did she have the word for what she mostly felt towards him; attraction.
