Alli whined excitedly, her tail waving about madly as she gave chase. Her long, powerful legs quickly propelled her towards the herd and Siege. She noticed that one deer was straggling a bit behind the rest, and saw that it was slightly favoring it's hind leg. "That one, Siege!" she called, pointing with her snout towards the injured deer. The split-colored wolfess sprinted towards it, it was heaving and panting and clearly exerting itself already. Well, she would give it one final run before it succumbed to the abyss. She lunged at it's hindquarters, unaware of the pups that were following.

Hayabusa and Ume also followed Kai, Sam, and Oki, they weren't about to stay by themselves anyway. Ume was scared though, she hadn't known that hunting could be this dangerous... With a whimper she trotted after her siblings with Hay trailing behind. He was really unsure about this, after all look what their father had done to Sam when he disobeyed. But he didn't want to lose their parents either, they weren't any where near home. A gasp came from Ume.

When Alavera had lunged, the deer had kicked out and thrown her to the ground. She hadn't thought that it would risk losing speed when there was a partner in the hunt, but apparently she was wrong. A thin trickle of blood ran down her chest but she was really just winded. Though since the deer had already been injured, the kick had taken to much out of it and it slowed to a limp.

"Mom!" Ume squealed, and begin to ran over to her. But Hayabusa grabbed her scruff and growled, "She's fine, DON'T get in her way."
