During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The wind still brushed against his soft black fur, the moon shone high in the sky. Barely any prey was stupid enough to even come here, and death reeked in the area. Noble Eight usually wouldn't have returned, but soon enough his mate would have pups and he would not be raising them as a loner.

He had been unofficially accepted by a pack member during the Alpha's absence, and he now wanted to confirm it. No other pack would probably let him in, so this was his last choice. Misty Mountain, the place where he first thought they would be raised, would probably result in the pups failling to their deaths while unattended. Munashii didn't have giant cliffs.

The scents of this death ridden world were different, however. It seemed like the Alpha was back... or was this a new alpha? Noble Eight didn't care. He entered the border, his scent hopefully familiar, since he had talked with some of the members during his first arrival.

The scents were the first thing to come to mind, they were very strong and still coming. Then, from a clearing, he saw them. A pack meeting? This was either because of the new leader, or because of the plain fact that something big just happened.

He sat down in the back, his steel blue orbs rotating to view one body to the next. The last one he looked at was the Alphess. He decided it would be best not to speak until spoken to. For now he laid back into the shadows, watching each one of them with a calm look. This was his pack, there was no denying that. Hopefully...
