aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

Much had been said, perhaps too much? No.. Akina would not let herself believe she had made the wrong choice to trust in Titan with her past memories. Never before had the lass spoke of what events occured during her younger days, instead, she allowed those she grew to love and care for to remain ignorant to her past experiences and to any foreign canine looking in, she would appear to be your average predator, never touched by the hands of man. Even now, Akina could feel the anxiety pull at her chest as she remembers the pup she longed to protect leave her small, misguided mind to the fate of the wild. Blood Titans eyes do well to bring the lass back from her emotional struggle whenever it comes to remembering past events. Pulling her mental state back to the present day, present moment.. This was not about her, it was about Titan and yet, no matter how long he had been away from her.. Leaving her to fend for herself, protect a pack and raise three beautiful youths she had such high hopes for, it was as if he had never left at all. The emotion that shon through her warm brown lookers could melt the toughest of hearts creating one blissfull memory of what was still good in this world.

Thrusting her being toward her love and performing the tightest of embraces any wolf could manage, Akina prepares to live the rest of her life in that position, never having to give a thought to what else was around her. Titan had that effect and she was certain it was a feeling she would never experience with another, that was what made him so different. The tears that threatened to break her heart fill her eyes to the brim and have no other choice but to begin their agonizing trail down her cheeks much like before. Akina was still torn between the hell she had endured the last few months and the realistic vision that held her in his grasp. Was he real? Yes.. She was certain and with this being the case, the girl knew there was no looking back now.. Only forward.

Titans smoothe spoken lyrics penetrate the pretty mothers thoughts long enough for her to register them in her brainbox. A wolfish brow is raised in both response and acknowledgement, speaking would prove too difficult through tears at the given moment and so she stays quiet and allows the silence to speak for itself. Akina wasn't surprised that Titan would return her aplogy for some act of wise talk and banishing there ever being a need to apologize in the first place, still.. It was there whether he chose to take it or not, earned and meant in her eyes. The soldier takes ahold of her again, pulling her in to the warmest of embraces as if promising her the place would always belong to no other than Akina herself. It felt good and familiar, enough to bring her seemingly endless tears to a halt and replace the darkened streaks of fur on her palette with soft risen cheekbones.

Her story was out, her first memory of the world and its occupants had become Titans knowledge for him to use it as he should though Akina trusted him enough with the information she had dished. The boy didn't act surprised, nor did he express any kind of emotion really.. Akina preffered it that way, perhaps he knew that? Hence why no questions were asked, only memories accepted. Akina offers another apology, this time expressing her regret regarding Titans return. How she wished it could have been happier, a memory that would live on forever in her heart as one of the best moments of her life. In a way it would, but it also brought a fair share of heartache in return for her soldier. Akina raises her dial in time to see Titan motion forward, shifting his weight closer to the girls own being intending to either support her or merely acknowledge the bad she felt with affection acting as his own way of telling her it was not needed, either that.. Or all was forgiven. Either way, Akina couldn't help but smile, glad to have everything out in the open and for the first time in as long as she could remember, the multi hued lass felt positive toward the future.

Titans speaks, telling Akina he would inform her of the rest of his story another day. For this she was thankful, she didn't believe she could take anymore of his tale today, perhaps not ever.. Though maybe her strength would return one day giving her the courage to accept the bad that had occured between them and in their individual adventures. That day was not today, and so instead of agreeing or speaking at all, she just let her loves smile warm her heart much like it always had. The attraction was still there on her part though she knew much had to be achieved on her part before she could begin feeling good about herself like she used to. Still, she had faith that day would come atleast now Titan was home. The smile along her palette widens more once Titan begins to trail his tongue along her cheek, an act some would call.. "Drying away ones tears" But in this case it was "Washing away ones tears.." He could be quite the slobber chops when he wanted to, Akina loved him either way, for the slobber chops he could sometimes be .. Along with many other qualities he probably wasn't even aware he posessed.

A touch of anxiety pierced the atmosphere, tense energy seeping from the soldiers coat has Akina wanting to close the distance between them even further and offer her support. He no doubt worried for the thoughts of the pack, his children.. The new litter that lay quietly beneath their fathers watchful gaze in the secluded den close to the pack meeting clearing. Akina knew it would be hard and take some adjusting but she was sure it would turn out in the end, this being the reason she merely offered her love a reassuring smile before turning her attention elsewhere. By this point, a piercing howl rang through the terra', the vocals barer being a member Akina recognised and realised just how much she had missed them. Sin, the thought of the she-wolf brought great excitement at the thought of seeing her dear friend again. She hoped to speak with her and see how she was coping as a new mother after so long, perhaps the two could share their own motherly stories and speak on a more.. Parental basis now they really had something in common. Turning her attention back to Titan, Akina offers him yet another smile before setting her gentle lyrics toward the atmosphere. "Come on.. Time to get things back to normal."

With that, the lass turned on her wolfish heels and made for the clearing she knew very well. Eager she was to see her youngest children that by this point were growing more mischievous everyday. It didn't take the lass long to reach the familiar clearing, turning back every now and again to be sure Titan was keeping up with her.. The multi hued lass is quick to approach a spacious side. Her soft browns observed those who had already arrived and instantly, she recognised Vela, the one who she had grown to love and care for, Vela being the one who had seen her straight during her darkest times. She had much to thank her for and maybe she would get chance to sometime soon. A foreign male had taken a place close by, too. Narrowing her lookers momentarily, Akina came to the conclusion that she didn't know him at all. His scent, appearance.. It was all unfamiliar though Sin didn't appear agitated by his presence, so she wasn't too concerned and was sure everything would be explained soon enough.

The next canine Akina is quick to smell before spot is no other than her son, Braveheart. The dark and crimson image of her soon stood out against the scenery and as quickly as she had noticed him, anxiety swells in her chest. How would he take to seeing his father again for the first time in.. God knows how long? Would he remember him? They had all been so young and ignorant to the goings on around them at the time, Akina worried he wouldn't. Shifting her gait to a gentle trot, the lass approaches her son, anxiety aside, she had missed him and giving little thought to his age or how embaressed he would be, Akina nuzzles against him affectionately before ending the reunion by swiping her tongue across his forehead several times. "Braveheart, sweetheart, are you okay? Where's your brother and sisters?" To accomodate her question, the ess shifts her dial back and forth to see if they are anywhere near the clearing, only to fail in spotting them at all. She would catch up with them soon enough, they never stay away too long.
