Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

A light breeze blew in from the Western world, one that warmed the damp body of the young female. She had just crawled from the lake when it had begun blowing. Her blue-tinted coat gleamed brightly in the sunlight. Bright, scarlet-brown pools blinked looking one way, then the other. Today had been a relatively boring day, nothing but swimming. She had not dreamed of finding a pack yet, though she practically ate attention. With a heavy sigh, Rainbow stalked away from Leisure Lake. Her sights were set on the two places she had never been: Rainbow Cliff and Misty Mountain. Since they were located close to each other, it would not be too terribly difficult to go from one to the other. Not to mention, Rainbow Cliff and herself shared the same first name. Could there be a better place to visit then one that shares your title? She grinned triumphantly before setting out. The girl longed for a good exploration, for she had been trying to start her new life here for a while, and it was rather time consuming. Plus, she had her sister to look after. But since she had been searching for a den - which has been about a day or two now - she had been gone. Rainbow did not know where, but to be honest, she knew her sister could take care of herself on her own.

The ghostly silhouette moved in a quick lope towards the path to the cliff. She stopped a few times along the way, taking in her surroundings. She breathed a sigh when the cliff finally came into view. It was a long way from Leisure Lake to Rainbow Cliff, but the young white female had made it. She would be exhausted if she had run the whole way, as she planned. She stood at the base of the mountain, sitting on her haunches and staring up towards the highest point, the peak of the cliff. She took in the height of the cliff and tried to determine how long it would take her to reach the rather far away top. Taking in a deep breath, Rainbow found a stone large enough to support her weight. She put her paw on it, testing it, before pushing herself up to another rock, testing this one as well. She did this for about five more stones before a sudden noise caught her attention. Flickering her auds toward the sound, the white femme spotted a large stones tumbling down the side of the cliff, followed quickly by some smaller ones. Her fur bristled as reality hit her. Rocks tumbled around with no help on this cliff. She had not laid a toe-claw on one of those rocks, and for no reason, they just slide down the cliff? Rainbow shook her cranium and thought about going back down.

She decided against it, however, while looking back down. She had come this far, why turn back? Besides, Rainbow was not a wolf to give up on her dreams. This one being to get to the peak of Rainbow Cliff on her first time venturing there. She turned and continued her journey up the mountain, her blue-tinted paws lightly padding on the rough terrain. She was no longer stopping to test the rocks, though she was always tense and ready for a rockslide. You can never be too careful, especially if you want your life to last for a while. As she neared the top, Rainbow let out a sigh of relief. She clambered to the top, feeling soft grass beneath her paw pads. She took a deep breath of the thinner air. Thinner then on the ground, anyway. She could not believe it, but it felt as if she were flying. A thing the ess wished to do since she first saw a bird take off as a pup. As walked to the brink of the cliff, looking below at the great land of Blossom. She did not really think of any wolf as her ‘friend’ for the fact he had not slowed down to meet any. There was hidden sarcasm as she took another deep breath of the warm air and laid down. Lain below a dead tree; Rainbow had no idea another wolf was there. She yawned and closed her eyes.

OOC- Forgive me for her first few posts… I’ve only posted her once before and I’m still getting into character.
