aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

Blinking and adjusting to the sunlight that shown over her head in patches, Halibel gave a long yawn and stretched her limbs before her in a bow as she managed her way to her paws. Her bright ginger pelt lapped up the sunlight, giving her a warm, fuzzy feeling as she set off in the direction of the meeting. She had spent the time after Sin had accepted her exploring the land and learning its layout. She had always been the curious, adventurous sort and had no qualms learning her new home by herself. It seemed to be quite the peaceful place and she found herself glad that she had decided upon joining. The teen still had yet to stumble upon Pilatus. She wonder where he could have disappeared to. After all, she hadn't seen him for some time. Perhaps he would come to this meeting, perhaps not. Regardless, she intended to attend. Even if she was a bit late by most standards.

Her pace was set at a quick trot, hurried but not rushing. It wouldn't do to be out of breath if she needed to immediately state her name or some other bit of information. The brush tugged at her lengthy fur, twigs attempting to snag and snare ehr as she made her way through the bushes. She paused just on the other side of them, at the edge of the clearing, and began scanning faces. It became evident in a very quick manner that she was not familiar with anyone save Sin. So, as most wolves do, Halibel headed for Sin's side out of sheer acquiantanceship. She stuck to the outskirts of the clearing, her light blue eyes roving over faces, her mind matching and storing faces with scents, though fat lot they would do her if she didn't learn her fellow pack mates' names. Ah well, she could do that later.

Siddling up to Sin, Hali reclined on her haunches, unsure of who exactly she should be paying respect to. Her gaze settled on a particular female, one whom Pilatus has described enough times for Hali to make an educated guess and label her as Akina. She was rather tempted to make her way over and introduce herself but she decided against it as she watched a few other teens huddle towards the lady. Exhaling a rather soft sigh, Hali nudged Sin's shoulder with her nose, a poking motion of sorts, and whispered,

"Sin, could you point out who it is I should be dipping my skull to?"

She wasn't entirely sure if Sin would give her an answer, but it was worth a shot. She felt rather attached to the ess, probably because neither of them had the luxury of an easy life as a pup. Or maybe Sin just reminded her of her mother. Either way, as outgoing and blunt as Hali could be, she was not about to make the mistake of bowing down to the wrong wolf.
